#1. 10th day: A Challenge is a Chance – writing Hangul
Conclusion to my first project on “a challenge is a chance”.
First at all, I am happy that I managed to go through the challenge, without giving it up before the end. In fact there was sometimes the temptation to just stop the project in the middle.
When I wrote the general outlines for the series “a challenge is a chance”, I estimated the time for each day as 2.5 hours. In fact, it took me at least 4 hours a day and easily it could be a full-time project.
However the 9 days were a very intense learning experience.
I started learning a new script. Hooray!
I read and informed myself on this subject on a daily base.
I made good use of my library.
And I have shared my knowledge.
From first hand, I could see how important it is to connect practice and theory.
All positive things.
For future “a challenge is a chance” projects, I will reserve a week or two purely for the project.
For my Hangul experience, I hope this was a departing point to learn more in future. In fact I have one more Japanese exercise book and graphic materials I have collected in Seoul few years ago.
A second exercise book to fill. Good for continuing and refreshing what I have learned so far.
