#1 A Challenge is a Chance – writing Hangul
Originally I wanted to apply the design concept of my typeface Gion (a study case during the MATD at Reading in 2013/14) not only to Latin, Japanese and Chinese, but also to Hangul. To learn how to write Hangul, I bought a book in Japan. This book gave me the promise to learn the writing of Hangul within one day. What a great promise! What a great idea!
The book has 9 chapters, 0 to 8. For each chapter it suggests one hour of practice. For my first experiment, I will use one chapter for each day. Here I start with the first challenge.
